Afternoon:
I could not be more proud of the boys and how the played this morning.
It would have been very easy for them, being down 0 -19 at half, to not play hard the second half.
Not only did they give a great effort, we actually outscored the other team 13 -6 in the second half.
The beginning of the game was rough and I take full responsibility and apologize.
I underestimated the amount of time needed to get everyone there, organized and warmed up and the chaos that resulted showed on the field for the first ten minutes of the game. Once they settled down and got into a rhythm we played step-for-step with the other team.
That being said, for all future games we will need the boys there 30 minutes prior to start of game to give ourselves ample time to get ready.
For this week, we will practice both Monday and Wednesday as we need to work on offense and defense line play and flag pulling.
The Monday practice will run till 7:30 pm and the Wednesday practice will run till 6:45 pm.
